Top local attorney appointed to VSB Special Committee on Technology and the Practice of Law
FAIRFAX, VA—David Kaufman, Founder and Principal of Kaufman Law, A Professional Corporation, has been appointed to the Virginia State Bar Special Committee on Technology and the Practice of Law.
The mission of the Virginia State Bar, as an administrative agency of the Supreme Court of Virginia, is to regulate the legal profession of Virginia; advance the availability and quality of legal services provided to the people of Virginia; and assist in improving the legal profession and the judicial system.
“I consider it an honor and privilege to be appointed to the Special Committee on Technology and the Practice of Law,” said Kaufman. “The ability of solo attorneys and small firms to successfully compete in today’s marketplace depends on their ability to use modern technology. This appointment will let me work with other attorneys to enhance that ability. I look forward to serving the Bar and the people of Virginia in this capacity.”
David Zachary Kaufman’s law practice focuses on corporate and business matters, litigation and appeals, unfair business practices and real estate. He is a sought-after speaker on these topics, as well as issues related to personal and business security. An Adjunct Professor of Law at George Mason University, Kaufman holds doctorates in both law and economics, and has tried more than 40 cases to a jury verdict.
