It’s been a long time since I posted here, almost 18 months.  There’s a reason or maybe a series of reasons why I stopped:  The election was heating up and I was hearing more and more nasty, crude, almost frightening comments from various people.  So I started consulting more seriously about security.  I can’t talk (or don’t want to talk) about what I did or who I did it for, but kept me pretty busy.

BTW (shameless commercial here) the ABA just came out with a new book on Staffing Procedures that has a chapter I wrote on office safety.  If you are setting up your office or revising office procedures, you might get a copy.  Otherwise, you will have to live with me posting various tips and things over time. O, btw, I don’t get a nickel from the book.  Maybe I’ll get a free copy, but I’m not betting on it anyway.

Recently my law practice has been very busy and I just didn’t have the time.  But things have changed (again).  So I’m back.
